Refund Policy
- All commercial transactions for Beside Pro are processed through our authorized merchant platform (Gumroad).
- Thisma Labs does not collect, process, or store credit card details or payment billing information directly.
- Beside Free Edition is permanently free to download and use with no payment information required.
- When a refund or chargeback is issued by Gumroad, the corresponding license key is automatically flagged as revoked in the Cloudflare D1 database and will no longer activate new devices.
1. Overview
At Thisma Labs, we want you to be completely satisfied with Beside Pro. Because Beside Free Edition allows you to thoroughly test device discovery, Wi-Fi pairing, and local transfer performance on your specific network before purchasing, we encourage all customers to try the Free Edition first.
2. Storefront Refund Processing
Beside Pro licenses are sold exclusively through Gumroad. Gumroad manages payment processing, billing, email receipts, and refund requests:
Gumroad Purchases:
- Refunds for purchases made on Gumroad are processed in accordance with Gumroad's buyer terms.
- To request a refund for a Gumroad purchase, click "View Receipt" in your Gumroad confirmation email and select "Contact Seller", or reach out to us with your order details on our GitHub issue tracker.
3. License Key Invalidation Upon Refund
When a refund is approved and processed, the associated Beside Pro license key is marked as revoked in our Cloudflare D1 license database. The refunded key will no longer authorize new device activations, and the software will revert to Free Edition capabilities upon next license verification.
